Head of Air by velveteenrabbit Head of Air by velveteenrabbit
I've been having quite the time trying to motivate myself to produce artwork lately, almost as if my head was completely empty of anything. So why not use that as motivation for an artwork?

Bristol board + ink + wire + aluminum foil + acrylic paint + string + fabric

I love this! I can almost feel the differing textures just by looking at the picture. And the way it looks three-dimensional in a 2d kind of way <3<3

Yay! I'm so glad that the variety of textures and materials and the contrast between 2D/3D came through in the photo. <3

Thanks very much! I love to play around with different textures and qualities of multiple mediums in any work I do.

You're welcome. :D I like playing with new mediums and textures as well, but I've only done limited mixing... mostly traditional drawing and digital.. but who knows what the future will hold.
